Potty training your new puppy is easy, but it does take time. Try to bring your puppy home on a long weekend; you really need to pay lots of attention to the new puppy in the first few days.

Dog potty training doesn’t have to be very stressful.

Here’s a rule of thumb: take your puppy outside whenever it wakes up, and as soon as it’s eaten.

Take your pup to the area of your yard that you intend as its toilet area.

Puppies learn faster if you establish a routine. Establish a pattern and do not deviate from it so that your puppy will not get confused.

Praising and giving treats to your puppy during dog potty training is important.

According to experts, if you consistently praise your dog for its good deeds during dog potty training, your dog will associate the good deed with praises and treats.

Since dogs love being praised and given treats, it will be more inclined to perform something that will most likely generate praises and treats.
