Looking for a dog friendly airline?

Most airlines will take dogs as cargo, but if you don’t want to make the arrangements yourself (and if you’re sending a dog overseas the arrangements can be complex), a company called Pet Air offers a pet transportation service. Pet Air offers services to 150  countries, and has a pickup and delivery service.

Getting your dog ready to fly

Make the arrangements for your dog to travel well in advance. It’s also essential that you purchase a proper kennel for him, that’s large enough for him to stand and move around, and which also has securely fastened food and water cups.

See your vet to make sure that your dog has all the certificates he’ll need, as well as shots as necessary for the destination.
